Wash It Before You Store It

Your car, motorcycle or RV shouldn’t be covered in dirt as to prevent rust during the months it is in storage.

 

Battery Care

To avoid your battery from being drained, disconnect the negative side, or remove your battery and attach a trickle charger (a car battery charger designed to be left on a car for a long period to re-charge the battery) instead.

 

Lock Your Vehicle

Close all of your windows and doors (for a car) and use a sheet or a cover to protect the paint on your vehicle insurance.
